Good news!!! My husband (Giancarlo) went by the house tonight and my cat was home!!
And now I can tell you all about these great new boots I got tonight LOL...they are converse knee-high chuck taylors in white. I'm so excited to visit the Pacific Northwest where I'm from. I'll feel right at home again :)
You have a safe trip. Enjoy each precious moment with your children during this trip. I can still remember the bad and precious moments as a child while travelling.
Here's one I will never forget when we went to see my son at graduation from bootcamp while in the Army in Kentucky. One of my sons started singing with the radio the song was "The Woman in Me" by Shania Twain. It was a 16 hour trip and we laughed so hard. He made my day.
