I created this Orb because I am interested in expanding my knowledge of standard CSS and HTML practices especially relating to DOCTYPE’s Standard vs Transitional in HTML or XHTML.

This information should be considered valuable as it will help develop websites that look and behave the same way in a variety of browsers namely Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2 and 3. At the time of this writing (Summer of 2008), these browsers are currently being used by over 95% of all web users.

These figures are a composite from almost every source I reviewed and It should also be said that it seems most sources are indicating that IE is losing popularly while FF is gaining.

On this Orb, I will post articles of various subjects that I am interested in learning more about. I will leave comments about my findings so feel free to interject with your own thoughts as they apply.
